Fun board all over the mountain. Cool shape with the double kick. Really easy to press and feels stable on steel. Snappy and easy to Ollie. I would prefer it to be a little stiffer that would be the only thing that I feel could improve it a bit. Overall sick board.
It’s true parkmachine, but it also works on groomers and in the pow.

After just 14 days of use, the board is no longer rideable. The base has started to chip and crumble along the edges. In over 20 years of snowboarding, I have never experienced anything like this with any board.
Unfortunately, my warranty claim was rejected.
I am extremely disappointed with the quality and the way this issue was handled. Based on this experience, I will not be purchasing a Rome SDS product again.
Bought the Artifact as my new Park board. I mainly ride rails and this board checks the boxes of what I wanted. The camber and hot rods give the board all the pop and power I was looking for while still keeping a softer flex like I like. It was really comfortable for me too, some boards take a little getting used to, this one was like an old friend from day one.
Aside from the camber, flex, tech, etc., I chose Rome because I got about 13 long seasons on my last Rome snowboard. In my experience Rome Snowboards' quality is as good as any warranty or customer service.

Bought this board from my local shop a couple weeks ago. Took it out for the first time today and I couldn’t get down the hill. I did two “runs” and left. I have rode Burton, Capita, Libtech, NeverSummer, and I have never felt anything like this. Not sure if mine didn’t get waxed or they’re all like this. Not saying it’s a bad board, Im not sure yet, but it’s really annoying my brand new snowboard won’t slide down a hill.
I bought this board in the off-season after riding the Gang Plank, which I absolutely loved. I wanted something that would help me progress my park skills, as I’m still building confidence there. I can’t wait to see how it handles this season and how much it helps me level up my riding. Delivery was super quick too!
