Ich habe die Katana pros gekauft, weil ich eine Bindung gesucht habe, die aggressives Fahren auf und neben der Piste unterstützt aber gleichzeitig die Freiheit bietet, Tricks und Grabs zu machen. Was soll ich sagen, die Bindung macht genau das, was sie verspricht. Hammer!

Der hohe Grat an Einstellmöglichkeiten kann allerdings auch zum Nachteil werden. Ich habe anfangs die Kante verloren beim Toesideturn. Habe dann festgestellt, dass ich minimale Unterschiede bei den Einstellungen der Vorderen und Hinteren Bindung gewählt hatte. Nachdem sie beide richtig eingestellt waren und mittig waren, liefen sie perfekt!
I have few union bindings and nidecker bindings before， all of them hurt my feet. I can even feel my feet of the first few rounds every time i go to snowboarding.
But this katana pro is amazing， its so comfortable some how and i just can't use my other bindings now
I started my snowboarding journey, like many others, with a cheaper pair of no-name bindings. After a few seasons I got my first legit set which were Rome Mob Boss 360's. Six years and a thousand or more days on snow later, I scooped up some 390 Bosses to fit a new board.
This year I went all in and grabbed my first ever set of Katanas. Knowing what I know now about riding, bindings, and material qualities I have to say that these things absolutely rip. The stiffness of the highback and chasis is just right. The hyper-adjustability of the component positions is giving me opportunities in my riding i've never experienced before. Classic Rome.

The Katana Pro Bindings are my second pair of Rome Bindings/Board Combo! I bought these bindings w/ the Agent Pro 160. My other board is an Agent Rocker 153 w Boss bindings.
The Katana Pro Bindings are AWESOME!!! Way better than any binding I've ever ridden! I've ridden Burton's most of my life, until the 1st Rome set-up in 2012. The Rome Agent Rocker board & bindings gave such great feel. The Katana Pro Bindings are just that much better! WAY TO GO!!!
I was looking at few different brands of bindings and in the end I'm really happy I went with Rome. The quality is top notch, especially the buckles. The adjustability on these is amazing allowing me to fine tune to my riding style. I was also able to get rid of pressure points (that I've had for most of my riding career) by adjusting the ankle stap. They have great responsiveness while also having some cusion over rough chunder. I love the way you.can just crank down the toe strap and the hold it gives you. So far the best binding I've probably ever had.
Or at least play make believe and pretend with these bindings. Surfy feel, yet connected. Get them already and be the pro-jerry you were born to be.
these were a better match for my agent board so i upgrade my boss's to the katana pros hoping it will be my 'last' upgrade. some things that stand out in a significant way
-canting in the footbeds is significantly easier on the knees
-duracush absorbs choppy terrain much better than the 390s
-aux tech in the toe and ankle straps feels MUCH more secure and the top cap vs over the toe strap transfers power much better
-ratchets feel much smoother and secure than the 390s
-small feature but the 'bend' in the ankle strap makes strapping in much simpler
-i haven't played with the ankle strap adjustability feature yet so can't comment
-overall very responsive with the few powder, tree runs ive done despite my angles/stance/entire set up not being ideal for the condition, flexible set up that holds up in a variety of conditions!
I have used Rome bindings from the first 390, 390 Boss, Katana and Black Label.

Lightweight AsymWrap heel cup, carbon High back and baseplate, fast entry ankle straps with arched straps (so they fall to the side).
The new dampening Duracush is fantastic (this used to be D30).
Really recommend these - zero compromise!
